Your website project
Thank you for your order
Thank you for ordering your new site and trusting GorillaHub with this next step in your business growth. My team and I are looking forward to working with you in the coming weeks to bring your ideas to life.
We have put this guide together to help explain what’s going on in the background to get things ready and what you can also do to prepare.
We work in a structured way with you to deliver your new site and track activity using our project collaboration tool, Basecamp. You’ll receive an invite to this in the coming days and I’ll see you there.
Project Kickoff Meeting
If we have not discussed your requirements on a video call recently, we’ll invite you to book one in so we can capture what’s required and identify any special requirements or potential obstacles.
What happens now?
Over the next few days, we will be be reviewing requirements as a team and setting up your project. When this is done we’ll send you an invite to our collaboration tool, Basecamp.
- We review requirements
- We look at delivery schedule, taking into consideration and prior agreements made at time of order
- We work out the website structure and add the pages to Basecamp
- Additional features are detailed separately
What you can do
The first thing we need from you are your logos, brand colours, guidelines and any other design assets you may have. We need this to enaure the website look matches your existing brand and any other marketing assets, signage or material.
Start collating your files now.
Also you can start thinking about any new or changing content (words and images) you want for the new site. We will build using either existing website content or placeholder words and images to get started, but content creation is often the longest stage of a website project, so saving time early is useful.
Existing Site Support
Looking after your old site
If there has been an agreement for us to manage an existing website until the new site is ready, our support team will be in touch to make the necessary arrangements separately. If you need support, you can do that through our ServiceDesk
